Identity verification and two-factor authentication
How verification builds marketplace trust and 2FA protects sign-in.

Quick answer
Identity verification confirms who participates in rentals; two-factor authentication adds a separate code when you sign in.
Identity verification
Verification is processed through Stripe Identity and is required before you can rent or publish listings. Nerbor receives the verification result rather than storing complete identity-document details.
Complete verification
- 1
Open Account settings
Find Identity verification under Security.
- 2
Continue with Stripe
Follow the secure prompts for your identity document and requested checks.
- 3
Return to Nerbor
Your account updates after Stripe reports the verification result.
Two-factor authentication
When 2FA is enabled, sign-in requires a six-digit code in addition to your password. You can use email and, after verifying your phone, SMS when available.
Keep access secure
- Use a unique password and never share verification codes.
- Keep your email address and phone number current.
- Review an unexpected code immediately and reset your password if needed.
- Nerbor Support will not ask for your password or one-time code.
